Mrs. Johnson was born March 28, 1972 in Dallas, Texas as the only child
of James and Joyce Duncan Robinson. She departed this life on Thursday,
May 29, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral services will be held
on Saturday, June 7th at 10 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at
University Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial
Gardens. Shaunda was baptized at Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church
under Rev. C.B.T. Smith. She attended the Parochial Schools of Dallas,
Texas, and graduated in 1990 from Bishop Dunne High School with Honors.
Shaunda furthered her education at Howard University, Washington, DC
where she majored in Accounting/Finance, and remained on the Dean's
List during her entire matriculation. She graduated in 1994. She was
employed by Nations Bank for ten years, and later became the owner and
CEO of J.D. Robinson & Associates. She was a member of University
Park Baptist Church, a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and friend to
many. She leaves to cherish her memory forever, her husband, Montieth
'Monty' Johnson; daughters, Carmen Elyse and Corryn Latrice Johnson;
parents, James and Joyce Robinson of DeSoto, Texas; mother-in-law,
Bertha Johnson and grandmother-in-law, Rutha B. Johnson of Charlotte,
NC; other relatives and friends. Memorials may be sent to the
Educational Scholarship Fund Memory of Shaunda Robinson Johnson,
University Park Baptist Church, 6029 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte,
North Carolina 28216. Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the
