To All Friends and Former Students of the Sisters of St. Mary
Don't Miss This Special Occasion and Wonderful Opportunity
Please join us in the spring of 2010 for this very special moment in time, a reunion and homecoming celebration in honor of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur for their many years of dedicated love and service. Since their arrival to Texas in 1873, the Sisters established ten catholic boarding school/academies, cofounded Bishop Dunne High School, Nolan High School, Notre Dame High School, and Cassata Learning Center. The Sisters were also the principal figures in initiating the building and development of the University of Dallas. For the last 137 years, the Sisters have taught and served in countless schools, parishes, and various ministries throughout the state. Their priceless contributions will forever remain a valuable part of the Texas Catholic history.
This is an open invitation all alumni, friends, and former students of SSMN Schools throughout Texas, including: Our Lady of Good Counsel Academy, St. Edwards, St. James, St. Cecilia, Blessed Sacrament, Holy Cross, University of Dallas, Bishop Dunne Catholic School, John XXIII, St. Ignatius Academy, Our Lady of Victory Academy, Nolan Catholic School, Notre Dame Catholic School, Academy of Mary Immaculate, Sacred Heart Academy, Academy of Our Lady of The Sacred Heart, St. Xavier Academy, Academy of Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Joseph's Academy, Cassata Learning Center, and many other schools & parishes in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Beaumont, Sherman, Dennison, Wichita Falls, Waco, Ennis, Corsicana , etc.
